Terms & Conditions

Legal Disclaimer

1. Enquiries & Bookings

 

All bookings are taken via enquiry.

Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee availability or confirm a booking.

 

A booking is only confirmed once:

    •    the event details have been agreed,

    •    a quotation has been issued, and

    •    a deposit has been received (where applicable).

 

Damson & Clover reserves the right to decline any booking.

 

2. Deposits & Payments

 

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total quoted price is required to secure your booking.

Your date is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

 

The remaining balance is payable 7 days before the event.

 

For bookings made within 7 days of the event, full payment is required immediatelyupon confirmation.

 

Payment is accepted via bank transfer only.

 

Services will not be provided without full payment.

 

3. Cancellations & Refunds

 

If the client cancels:

    •    Deposits are non-refundable.

    •    Cancellations within 14 days of the event will be charged 50% of the quoted total.

    •    Cancellations within 7 days of the event will be charged 100% of the quoted total.

 

If Damson & Clover must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of any payments received will be issued. No further compensation will be offered.

4. Dietary Requirements & Allergies

 

It is the client’s responsibility to inform Damson & Clover of any dietary requirements, allergies, or intolerances at the time of booking.

 

While every effort is made to accommodate dietary needs, Damson & Clover cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Clients with severe allergies should consider this before booking.

 

Damson & Clover accepts no liability for allergic reactions where information has not been clearly provided in writing.

5. Client Responsibilities

 

The client must ensure that:

    •    the kitchen and dining space are clean, safe and suitable for food preparation,

    •    there is adequate working space, refrigeration, and equipment,

    •    pets and children are kept away from the cooking area,

    •    parking and access are available for unloading equipment.

 

Any delays caused by inadequate facilities may affect service timings.

6. Equipment & Damages

 

Any equipment brought by Damson & Clover remains our property.

 

The client will be responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing any equipment damaged through misuse or negligence.

​

 

7. Travel & Additional Charges

 

Travel within [insert radius e.g. 15 miles] of [your base location] is included.

Additional travel costs may apply outside this area.

 

Extra charges may also apply for:

    •    menu changes after confirmation,

    •    additional guests,

    •    extended service time,

    •    additional staff requirements.

8. Photography & Marketing

 

Damson & Clover may take photographs of dishes and table settings during the event for marketing purposes.

 

If you do not wish photographs to be used, please notify us in writing prior to your event.

 

No photographs of guests will be used without explicit consent.

​

 

9. Liability

 

Damson & Clover accepts no responsibility for:

    •    loss or damage to client property,

    •    any injury occurring due to unsafe premises or negligence by the client,

    •    allergic reactions where dietary information has not been provided.

​

 

10. Force Majeure

 

Damson & Clover will not be liable for failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

    •    illness

    •    severe weather

    •    transport issues

    •    accidents

    •    supply shortages

    •    government restrictions

​

 

11. Governing Law

 

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

​

 

12. Agreement

 

By confirming a booking, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
